I want to kick off THE WORK by introducing you to Chelsea Quint. I had the pleasure of reading her Human Design chart in July, and from the moment she started sharing about the important work she does with her clients, I knew I needed to share her gifts with you.

In our Human Design charts, we're all a unique mix of open and closed centers. Through our closed centers, we have more consistent access to energy or more consistent traits and characteristics of how we walk through the world. It's through our open centers that we're more vulnerable to taking on fears and limiting beliefs that don't belong to us.

From the moment we exit the womb, we're bombarded with messaging, conditioning, influence and programming from the people around us, from our parents, our teachers, our friends, and that cute red-headed kid we had a crush on in the 5th grade who said we were "gross" (true story. he had the cutest freckles. still heartbroken. not really. maybe a little...). And it's through our open centers that we're incredibly prone to internalizing this messaging/conditioning/programming, both positive and negative.

One of the homework assignments I always give my clients is to go through each open center in their chart and really think about what messaging, conditioning, programming and limiting beliefs they might have taken in through that center, and to journal through how those beliefs have either 1) showed up in the past or how they 2) continue to play out in their lives (or both!). Utilizing "not-self" questions as journal prompts is a great way to start this work (I created some downloadable journal pages for our "not-self" questions and made them available on YOU by design).

BUT what happens AFTER you identify the ways this programming/conditioning/messaging has impacted you? It's time to release that limiting belief! We don't want to hold onto what no longer serves us or stands in the way of our serving our highest good and the greater good. There are so many ways to do so (breathwork, meditation, visualization, therapy, etc), so I thought it might be helpful to introduce you to Chelsea Quint, a transformational coach and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) practitioner who utilizes this strategy in her work with her clients and in her own self-care practice as well.
