shadow work x human design | excavating the mind center
In Human Design, the Mind Center governs analysis, synthesis, and processing of information. (If you’re brand new to human design, start here to learn more about the Mind Center, and how it feels when it’s open and when it’s closed) 🖤
Here are some Shadow Work Journal prompts to consider as you’re going through the de-conditioning process with this center…
Closed Mind Center:
What type of processor am I? Do things tend to "click" more when I write things out or when I process orally? Can I process new information well when I’m alone, or do things make more sense faster when I have a peer or friend serve as a sounding board?
What is my relationship to the planning stage of decision-making? Am I usually ready to take action sooner than those I'm planning with? Or do I get lost in the research phase, coming up with more questions to answer? What happens when I take action too quickly when making plans or processing new information? Or when I take too much time to plan?
Open Mind Center:
What conditioning have I received about myself as a learner? About my intelligence? About my ability to make connections and synthesize information?
What conditioning have I received about myself as a problem-solver? Do I consider myself to be detail-oriented? Where has this been a superpower of mine? And when has it been a hindrance?
Over the next few months, I'll be sharing where to look in your chart and how to engage with what you find to get the most out of your Human Design experiment. But if you're ready to get started NOW, join the catalyst | fire community. This work is our focus for October & November.
