shadow work x human design | excavating the spleen center
In Human Design, the Spleen Center governs how our body picks up on and alerts us to what is safe and what is not. (If you’re brand new to human design, start here to learn more about the Spleen Center, and how it feels when it’s open and when it’s closed) 🖤
Here are some Shadow Work Journal prompts to consider as you’re going through the de-conditioning process with this center…
Closed Spleen Center:
What conditioning have I received about my gut-level intuition? Have I been taught to trust it? Or have been taught to suppress it?
How has ignoring my splenic NOs impacted my life? How has ignoring my splenic YESs impacted my life?
What would have to change so that I could feel comfortable honoring these intuitive messages?
Open Spleen Center:
What conditioning have I received about my own relationship to anxiety? To intuition?
When I am most likely to sponge/mirror/magnify the anxieties and fears of others? Under what conditions? In what circumstances?
How has allowing anxiety to take the wheel impacted my life? What would have to change to enable me to tune out this energy and tune in more deeply to my authority?
Over the next few months, I'll be sharing where to look in your chart and how to engage with what you find to get the most out of your Human Design experiment. But if you're ready to get started NOW, join the catalyst | fire community. This work is our focus for November.
